Our management consists of 5 executives with more than 50 years of experience in the gold and diamond industry. Carver Industries heralds the beginning of a new generation of diamond companies.
Management Team
President, Chris Thomas

Chris Thomas has over 20 years of management and engineering experience. He will be responsible for Operations, Logistics/Transport, and Technology for our Worldwide Staff. He has over 20 years of Corporate Management experience and has led mining operations in Ghana and Liberia. Mr. Thomas is an accomplished Manager who delivers cost-effective, optimized solutions to mining and commodity problems. Mr. Thomas is experienced in using sophisticated Operations Research based techniques to drive down cost in production environments.
Mr. Thomas earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from the University of Texas. His research specialty was Material Science.
Managing Director, Precious Metals - Liberia, Darrell Bennett

Darrell R. Bennett will lead our gold and diamond operations in Liberia. Mr. Bennett has over 32 years of management and business operation experience. He spent the past 3 years bringing Grand Cape Mount Gold Mine Project online.
Mr. Bennett has 20 plus years of management consultant & Import/Export experience. He is recognized for strategic planning & implementation of projects.
Managing Director, Precious Minerals, Kohen Turner

Mr. Turner will oversee the acquisition, sales and marketing of our Rough Diamond Trading Division. He brings to Carver Industries more than 25 years’ experience in Gold and various sectors of the diamond industry including rough diamond trading, polishing, marketing and retail.
Mr. Turner’s vast experience enables Carver Industries unlimited access to the rough diamond markets in Antwerp, Belgium; Mumbai, India; London, and New York City; four of the world’s largest rough diamond markets. He speaks several languages including French, Lingala and Chiluba.
Managing Director, Finance, Ron Miller
Ron Miller is an experienced Finance and Securities Manager. Mr. Miller will be responsible for Capital Fund organization and Investment Banking projects. He has over 10 years of investment banking and capital markets experience with Credit Suisse and Citigroup.
Mr. Miller is a Graduate of the University of New York at Rochester from the School of Economics. He has previously had Series 7 license.
Manager, Operations, Michelle Burgess

Michelle
Burgess is a highly seasoned Operations Manager with over 20 years of experience.
Ms. Burgess will be responsible for domestic operations for Carver. She will manage training, HR functions,
certification process, and payroll. She has a distinguished record of planning and directing projects in Finance, Education and Healthcare.
Ms. Burgess has a Master’s in Business Administration and plans to begin work toward her Doctorate in 2015.
